Ordering - We strive to make ordering at Vernell Electronics, Inc. as quick and easy as possible. Ordering a detector from Vernell Electronics, Inc. takes just a few short steps. After you select your item(s), previous customers will be asked to log in with their username and password. New customers will be asked to complete a short registration to provide contact and billing information. You'll then be guided through checkout and order confirmation.

Sales Tax - A sales tax of 7% is charged to all orders shipped to Florida addresses. Sales tax is not charged on orders shipped to addresses outside of Florida.

Payment Options - Vernell Electronics, Inc. accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Credit card accounts will not be charged until shipment. We also accept cashier's checks, money orders, wire transfers and Western Union cash transfers. Funds must be received prior to shipment. We do not accept COD orders. All funds in U.S. Dollars only.

International Orders - International customers are responsible for freight, insurance, taxes, customs fees and all other related charges. All funds in U.S. Dollars only.

Ordering and Shipping Confirmations - When your order is ready for shipment you will be notified by email confirmation giving you your package tracking information. You may then visit the UPS.com website to track your package.

Shipping - price includes standard UPS ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States. Call or email for cost of express shipping, special handling or shipping outside the continental United States.

Multiple Detector Discount - A 10% discount will be given on orders of five (5) or more detectors (detector models may be mixed but they must be ordered at the same time and shipped to the same address).

Returns and Exchanges - Vernell Electronics, Inc. wants you to be totally satisfied with your purchases, but if for any reason you are not, please follow these steps for returning undamaged merchandise:

(A.) Obtain an RMA number by contacting Vernell Electronics by email or telephone.
(B.) All items must be returned within ten (10) days of receipt and in their original carton. Wrap and pack the detector securely. Note the RMA number on outside of package.
(C.) Include the following documents: a copy of the dated proof of receipt and a letter with a full description of the reason for the return.
(D.) Arrange for shipment of the item to Vernell Electronics, Inc. with a shipping carrier of your choice. PLEASE NOTE: Vernell Electronics, Inc. cannot accept responsibility for shipping cost or merchandise damage that occurs during the return process.

Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number
There will be a restocking charge of not less than 20% on all returned detectors.

Damaged or Defective Detectors - Vernell Electronics, Inc. will exchange any item that is damaged or defective when you receive it. Damaged items must be returned within ten (10) days of receipt of the merchandise and the damage must have been noted on shipping documents at time of delivery.
(A.) Notify Vernell Electronics, Inc.'s customer service department of the damage by email or telephone to receive an RMA number.
(B.) All items must be returned within ten (10) days of receipt and in their original carton. Wrap and pack the detector securely. Note the RMA number on outside of package.
(C.) Include the following documents: a copy of the dated proof of receipt and a letter with a full description of the reason for the return.
(D.) Arrange for shipment of the item to Vernell Electronics, Inc. with a shipping carrier of you choice. PLEASE NOTE: Vernell Electronics, Inc. cannot accept responsibility for shipping cost or merchandise damage that occurs during the return process.

If the detector is determined to be defective, Vernell will pay the shipping costs to send the replacement detector and will reimburse the shipping costs paid by the customer to return the defective detector.
Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number

(C.) Replacements will be shipped as soon as possible. Our goal is to ship replacements for damaged merchandise within 72 hours of processing a customer's claim.
